  3. I think that the skills and attitudes needed to improve an athlete's performance in track and field are perseverance and being dedicated. These skills and attitudes can be used in other sports and activities because in every sport you have to have perseverance to chase after something you wan't to do. Also, you have to be dedicated in every sport you really like.

  4. I see that her rans everyday and stretches before running. He stays in his own track and is very dedicated. This skills and attitudes can be used in other sports and activities because before doing any type of physical work, you have to stretch. Also, to do a sport, you have to be very dedicated. If you are not dedicated, you are never going to get anywhere. And last but not least, you have to do the sport you want over and over (perseverant), because if you are not perseverant you will never get better at it.

  5. I see Usain Bolt running and training harder each day and what different technics he uses. I think that he uses his power for good things and to help other people.I wonder why he started to do this project and start his career. I think they can be used in any sport Usain Bolt is pretty much saying that if you train hard you will be the best and I think that goes for anyone or team like Barcelona futbol club they still train even though they are the best. I still think just because he is the best doesn't me he never loses to anyone like his trainer says "you have to learn to lose before you learn to win"

    1. Jack,
I really liked your point at the end of your comment about losing first to learn how to win. I think it captures well what he was saying since he is not to proud to train but he still has confidence. He does not think he is better then anyone else. He is quite humble and he understands this sport very well.

  7. I can see that even the fastest person in the world puts a lot of effort to not lose his place. He always trains hard and puts all his effort. One thing I wonder is that I saw spikes on his shoes. Why is that helpful in the track? Doesn't it hurt for your bottom of the feet? Also I think he stretched his feet to make his distant longer.

  8. I see that Usain Bolt trains everyday harder and harder to try to achieve his best state in his career. I think that Usain Bolt is really dedicated to his work, and should continue to work on track and field, because he has lots of potential. I wonder if Usain Bolt will ever be fater than he already is.

  9. I see that that Usain Bolt started training at a young age because he loves running short distances. I noticed that he runs every day and is focused to be the best. He gives his best and is dedicated to his job. He pumps his arm I think he does this because he wants to be the best possible and in the world. I wonder does he have the track and field abilities because of his genetics and why did he chose to become a sprinter?

  10. I see that to not get hurt he get massages and when he is training he is not running that fast. He trains really hard but he never knows if that is his best, he just tries. Every year he tries harder. I think his steps are really big! I wonder if he never tried to give up. If you learn to like a sport you are patient and you can have fun and be good.

  11. I can see that you need to start doing whatever it is you want to do from very young. You also need to be eager to do what you are going to do. You must be fit and make sure that you don't damage yourself with what you are going to do. You really have to push yourself to do better and to be able to improve.

  12. I wonder how many times per day he does this. If he trains a lot, it'll affect him positively.

  13. I see that Usain Bolt works really hard on his training sessions and always wants to represent his country, Jamaica, proudly. I also saw that in his training sessions he runs like if it was a real race, he does his best like he would in a performance. I think that his running skills are really good and his body is really strong because practicing and never giving up might help him. I wonder how he trained to be the fastest runner on earth? Was his family fast or did he practice a lot? Finally, this skills might help in other sports because in most of them like soccer you need to be able to run good and resist crossing the field.

  14. I wonder why he needs to moisturize and why he can't "push himself to the limit".

  15. I see that Usain Bolt is not doing this only for money he is also doing it for his country. He has an incredible way of thinking. He may be the fastest man on earth but he still practices every day. He knows that he only got there because he practices a lot and that if he stops practacing his skills will get damged. I wonder why he wants to run?

    1. Hi Jessica, I agree with you that he does not only run for money, but also for his country. I also think that Usain Bolt also runs because he enjoys doing it. Nevertheless, I have noticed that Usain never gives up, and he said in the video that you win some and lose some. I think this is very important because even though you might not win once you can always try again. Additionally, I agree with you that Usain has to keep practicing everyday so he won't lose the skills he already has. To answer your question I think that Usain want's to run because it might make him feel good. This might be one of the reasons but he is the only one that knows the right answer.

  16. I see that he is hard on himself. He will never be "too good". He pushes him self to practice a lot. He may be the fastest man in the world, but he still needs to practice. I think he is going to a lot of pressure. Even though he knows that he is not going to win them all, the rest of the world does not. They expect him to be the greatest, whitch might not always happen.

  17. I see that Usain Bolt he practices a lot but he is always balancing him so that he does not hurt himself because or else he can get hurt and not be able to run. The way that he is always improving is every year he tries to go a little faster. I see that he does everything he can like he has a lot of things his coach would tell him like " You have to learn how to lose first then learn how to win." Also that he does not like say I am the best I win everything okay he practices more so he gets better.

  18. Usain trains a lot, and I noticed he runs quite differently than me and other people. So he could also find other techniques to run faster and stronger. Other than that, I also think he is caring too much about safety (thorny shoes? Seriously?), and that fear of getting injuries is keeping him from trying to go faster and get better at running. So you should always go beyond.

  19. I think that Usain Bolt feet hurts a lot because like when he starts sprinting he is different than other runners because in the video I saw that when he starts running he jumps something like that and when we run we don't just jump in the middle of nothing. If it doesn't hurt why would he do massage.

  20. I can tell that he tries his best during training and I can tell that he loves to run. Also he seems very tired after his training sessions. I notice that he runs differently and I can tell he is going super fast. Unlike Caiua I think that it is a good thing that he cares about safety and that he makes sure he doesn't push himself too far so he can get far. One question I have is I wonder what it feels like to run so fat and to be the fastest person in the world.

  21. I can see that he knows what he is doing and even gave people tips about what you should do before starting a race at the training. I saw that he trains a lot and tries his very best for two things learn something new and get better or maintain at the certain level he's on. I think that he as a runner must always push himself to overcome challenges and for him to always learn something new/useful that will help him on his career. I wonder why he jumps right before he runs because not most runners do that and it doesn't seem to speed him up at the start, maybe for him it's easier to get started? Or is he just recovering from his injury? If so maybe he should just rest until it fully heals.

  22. Something he said that really caught my attention was that in order for you to be good at any sport you need to start training from young. You don't need but it would be really good for you.

  23. I think that Usain Bolt is an exeptional runner. He is clearly dedicated and know a lot about the sport. He knows how to be fast or be good at endurance. He had some nice tips for helping people. He is very humble and emphasis how much training is important. He does not act like he is the best and think he does no longer have to train. He realizes there is always room for improvement and that nobody can be there best without hard work. He know all the skills and is a very strong runner.
I wonder if maybe he has some days where he just does not want to get up and train. I also wonder how many hours a day you have to train and how much is to much? What is his favorite part about running? What does he think makes him good?

  24. In the video I saw Usain Bolt having an interview about his record holding time at the 200m race. I also saw how hard he trains every day to maintain and improve that talent. I agree with what he says, I think you need competition so that you are able to keep pushing yourself. Having to compete makes you want to be better, and to keep being the best. If there is no-one for him to compete with, I don’t think he would be as good as he is today because he probably wouldn’t have trained as hard if he thought he was already the best naturally. I also think that there is no absolute best that a person can reach, there is always room for improvement. You should never stop practicing just because you think you have reached your full potential because that’s impossible: you can always push yourself more. I wonder how many times he has set a goal for himself and has reached that goal. I hope he reaches the time goal that he mentioned in the video and that he can set a new goal for himself so that he can keep improving. I also wonder what else he does when he is outside of practice, in his everyday life, to maintain his health and level of fitness. I wonder how much he trains everyday, and if he ever has days where he doesn't train? I wonder how long it took him to recover from his injury. Dedication and determination can be seen in every single sport and activity that you ever do. If you want to be good, if you want to be the best, you have to keep working no matter what. That attitude in the video can be applied to every aspect of your life.
